TELEHEALTH PARENT TRAINING – HEC FUNDED PROJECT
It is an ongoing project funded by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. We provide training to parents to learn how to manage challenging behaviors in their children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Nearly 70% of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder have behavioral difficulties (e.g. aggression, tantrums, non-compliance) that limit new skill acquisition, adaptive functioning & educational engagement and increase social isolation, all of which result in poor quality of life.
Parent training empowers parents and teach them effective behavior-management techniques.
